The Nike ACG LDV is directly based on the Nike LDV (Long Distance Vector) that debuted in 1978 and was worn by Rick Ridgeway and John Roskelley during their K2 ascent. Their collective experiences and feedback significantly contributed to the development of Nike's first outdoor line and ultimately to the founding of Nike ACG.

"Just do it" : Hardly any other brand lives its brand slogan like the sporting goods manufacturer founded in Beaverton in 1971.
